Pre-Treatment & Planning Guide

Pre-Treatment Care for NOUVADerm Scalp Laser Treatment

✅ Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning for four weeks before your appointment.
✅ One week prior, speak with your physician or Dr. David before stopping any prescription medications, and strictly avoid alcohol, blood-thinning supplements, and hair dyes.
✅ Stop all scalp serums three days prior.
✅ Wash your hair the morning of your visit with a basic shampoo, and arrive with a scalp free of dry shampoos, hairsprays, or styling gels.
✅ Plan for three to ten days of clinical and social downtime, including keeping your scalp completely dry for the first three days.
✅ Light, sand-like flaking will develop along the treated area — your hair might look slightly messy, but you can step right back into public immediately.
