Can this really get rid of under eye bags without surgery or cutting?
Yes. Under eye bags come from water pushing forward through weakened skin, and from fat pads under the eyeballs herniating out. We go into the fat pads and shrink them, then thicken the skin up front to hold the water back. Between the two — yes, we can get rid of eye bags without surgery.
Will it look natural without a blepharoplasty scar?
Yes. Because we have not made any cuts, if we treat too little we can always do more. And because we are watching it shrink in front of our eyes, we will never over-treat and create that hollow, strange look that can happen after surgery.
Will there be a lot of bruising and swelling? Can I wear makeup the next day?
There can be some swelling and bruising depending on how you personally respond. The good news is the heat from the needles coagulates the tissue including the blood vessels, which minimizes bruising and bleeding. We ask that you wait about five days before applying makeup.
Is it safe to treat around the eyes with needles so close?
It is a safe procedure. We know exactly what structures we are working around and precisely where to place the needles safely.
